2022 Calendar


MEETING – March 19, 10 am via Zoom. Meeting will include introduction of new members, how to wake up your tubers, Q&A session, and discussion of our spring sale. All are welcome. Members have been emailed a link to join the Zoom meeting. If you are not a member, but are interested in joining the meeting please email and we will send you the Zoom link.

When: Saturday, April 30th 9am – May 3rd at 8pm.

Pick-up: No shipping. Pick-up on East side of Madison on May 7th. Pickup times are 9:00 am to 11:00 am for last names A-L and 11:00 am to 1:00 pm for last names M-Z.

Get tubers and already-growing dahlia plants from award-winning “parents” at very reasonable prices. We have hundreds of tubers and plants from scores of exotic and gorgeous cultivars!

DAHLIA SHOW – We are planning on having our 76th annual show on Saturday, August 20 and Sunday, August 21 at the Goodman Community Center, 149 Waubesa St., Madison, WI. This is half a mile from Olbrich Gardens. FREE admission. Check out our 2022 Show Schedule for the details!
2017 Dahlia Show

We are open Saturday from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. On Sunday at 2 p.m., we give away all the blooms, so bring a vase or bucket to carry away some beautiful and FREE cut blooms for your table.

2018 Picnic and Member Garden Tour

PICNIC and GARDEN TOUR – Our annual potluck picnic at the home of one of our growers. See new varieties and learn about different cultivation methods. Members only.


AWARDS BANQUET – November 13 at 1 p.m. at Tulley’s II, 6401 Monona Dr., Monona, WI. Check your email for details! Our annual buffet brunch and joint awards banquet for the Badger State Dahlia Society (based in Madison) and the Wisconsin Dahlia Society (based in Milwaukee). Members only, pre-registration is required.
